STATEMENT ON GREG CLARKE COMMENTS

“On reflection of Greg Clarke’s decision to resign, We believe this to be the right thing to do. At this stage in the fight to combat racism, sexism and homophobia, the Chairperson of the National FA can not be seen to endorse such casual discriminative behaviours. We see this decision as an opportunity for the FA and football to push forward a new culture of accountability and to step out of the corridors that have so often hidden the cobwebs of shame. A new standard must be set and maintained for any trust to be forthcoming from all who are discriminated against.”
